I hate how everyone on here always compares animals to children. I see it all the time. Just because someone doesn't like an animal, or wants to get rid of an animal, doesn't mean they will be or they are horrible parents. I'm sorry but everytime I see someone compare a pet to a child I automatically assume they are bad parents themselves. If you love your pet that much to be able to chose it over your kid, or love it as much as your kid, then I assume you're a shitty person. I would never and could never love my cat or dog, as much as my child. I created and gave birth to my child, they are my world. They are a little piece of me and the one I love. They're my life. I could never love a dog or a cat like that. If you have a bond that strong with an animal, that's just crazy and weird. Poor child for having a parent care about their pet as much as them. So before you start saying people are bad parents for not liking their animals, stop to think how bad you're making yourself look.
