For those of you who remarried, what did you do with your first dress and rings?

My wedding dress was beautiful (says me). Would it be wrong to alter it into something I could wear again?

I wouldn't bring anything from a previous relationship into the new one. Everything has energy, and I am sure you want to start anew. I donated my dress and traded my old ring in to help purchase my husband's new ring.

Donated my dress- kept the ring for my daughter in case she would want it in the future.

My first dress I donated.  My second I let a friend borrow and never got it back.  My first ring I pawned.  My second ring I never wear.

I wouldn’t see a problem with that if you made some changes but I wouldn’t wear it the same, personally. I don’t see anything wrong with that. As for rings I’m a bit superstitious so I would probably sell them.

I gave my daughter my first dress to play with. Kept the rings incase she wants them. My new husband and I get simple rings, just bands. And I got a 20$ dress.

My husband tossed the rings into a lake. 
If you have kids I suggest keeping them for them.
When we die our son from our marriage will get our set.
