Did you cry when you got engaged?

Like, when you were asked, “Will you marry me?”, did you immediately burst into tears? Or were you just so shocked it was happening that you couldn’t even speak or move? Just wondering!

No... because he didn't really ask ask :D He got so nervous he forgot everything he wanted to say. He handed me the pebble (proposed like a penguin) and said I got this for you. I knew what it meant so I hugged him and kissed him. Then he randomly blurted out "ICONSIDERTHISTHEENGAGEMENT!" Like yea...I figured as much :D He told me the speech later once he calmed down. It was still really cute and it's my favorite story ever.

I was in shock and actually started yelling at him because I thought he was joking. I always thought I’d be a cryer, but I was so thrown off that wasn’t the case for me!

i was in shock and honestly a lil disappointed. he brought me to the city to see the tree, which i hate crowds so i was already uptight plus i had a feeling it was coming so i was anxious from that. and he didnt get down on one knee or tell me why he wanted to marry me or anything. i think he was really nervous so he pulled me in front of him, both facing the tree and with his arms around me put the ring in front of us in the box and said somethinf like "bemywifeforchristmas" he was nervous lolol

I was in shock. I kneeled down so I was face to face and asked "are you serious?" and "is this really happening?" he told me "yes, now will you please stand up so I can do this?" lol I squealed with happiness.

I was in shock because it was a complete surprise.  We went to a concert I’d been planning for months and we somehow lost the tickets on the walk from the parking lot to the music venue!  We tore the car apart, called his friend who was at my boyfriend’s apartment and he couldn’t find them... so we got in the car and went back to his place.  I’m crying, so upset that we managed to lose them!  They obviously fell out of his pocket during the walk and someone swiped them up.  He was going to propose at the concert but his plans were foiled.  We get to the apartment and I don’t want to go inside yet and admit defeat so he hands me a box.  I open it and laugh.  Really?  Then he said “do you know what kind of ring it is?” And me still being upset said “no what is it?” And he said it’s an engagement ring. And I said “oh it’s beautiful.... are you going to ask me?” And he laughed at me and asked me right in front of his apartment complex.  I cried then tears of happiness and didn’t care about missing the concert after that :)  so shock and tears of joy!  We’ve been married a little over a year with plenty more concerts in our future hahahaha

I knew it was coming and he had someone taking our picture when he proposed and it was making me nervous having someone watching us so I didn't cry at first but then probably like 10 minutes later once the people takin our picture walked away it really hit me I started crying. He also was tearing up as he was asking me. 😊 it was still cute even though I knew it was going to happen!

Yes, I cried and it wasn’t even like in the movies where the woman is looking beautiful with tears and all, it was like 😭 ugly loud cries.lol But my fiancé broke down and he did look beautiful crying, he didn’t make weird noises crying like I did either.haha

I cried the entire time!! from the minute I saw the box until we hugged and kissed with joy. I was also 21 weeks pregnant and jet lagged from a 10 day business trip 😂😂
