Was this a rude way to get off of the phone?

Last night I was on the phone with my boyfriend. He was playing a game while talking to me, which is fine, but whenever I would have a conversation with him he wouldn’t really say much and change the subject. I was not rude in any way, just a little frustrated. I said “okay baby, well you seem preoccupied, so I’m going to let you go.” Is that mean? I wasn’t trying to come across that way at all, but I was a little frustrated that he wouldn’t respond much. Am I overthinking?
