Not my place?
Do you think that as the older sister it's not my place or right to help with getting my siblings something nice for Christmas? My father got my brother a new laptop and my sister a hover board. I knew my brother wanted an Xbox one, so I suggested that me, my dad, my grandpa, my ex step mom, and her dad all pitch in to get it for him and them my sister could have his Xbox 360 which she has wanted for a while. I said that would be mine and my husband's gift to them both was helping get that and my dad got super pissed. So since that was a no go, I got them a few things from my husband and I. I got my brother a bunch of card for his game called "Magic". I got my sister 2 outfits and some bath bombs. I am also getting them and there 2 step siblings kittens (my ex step mom said yes to this) and my dad asked me what I got them and I didn't think it was a big deal because it's not a lot, but he got super mad at me. He said I am trying to out do him and it's not my place or right to get them things like that for Christmas. He is mainly mad about the kittens. He says I have over stepped. Do you think I have? The kittens are free and they need the cats because of the mice at their home. Their mom was happy I was getting them for the kids.
