White lines?!

So AF isn’t due until Friday but I’m impatient lol I took a test yesterday at 9dpo but realized it wasn’t FMU. The test has a control line then a white line which I read is a indent line. Never had this before when I used first response (6days early). Now this morning 10dpo I took one right away and the same thing?!?! Are these tests faulty or something. When I had my daughter these test never showed a white line or with my Miscarriage. It was either pregnant or not. 🙄
