My mom won’t let me stay on birth control🙄

So I’m 19, and I’ve been on the combination pill and the shot. I was taken off the pill for estrogen complications and put on the shot, but the shots been making me go insane. I told my mom just in like casual conversation that I was going to call my gynecologist tomorrow and make an appointment to talk about the shot and see what else I could try. And my moms just like “what do you need it for? Your acne?” And I’m not about to be straight up and tell her for sex but I mean I’m 19 and she knows I have a boyfriend. she will not budge and doesn’t want me on anything and will try to get my father involved. What the hell do I do?
