First Xmas holiday being single! WDID?

My ex and I have 2 little girls together, who absolutely adore their dad . He moved to my town so no family etc and being Xmas holidays he can’t exactly stay with mates. He works out of town but wants to come back for the holiday.

Would it be wrong to let him stay at our house for our kids sake? It’ll be Xmas eve until Jan 1st. We do get along good and he knows we’re over. I’m just not sure how these things work esp when he doesn’t have his own home in town to take them. I’d love to be able to keep atleast Xmas holidays normal as it’s our first year seperated. Any opinions?
