Provera period

So i was prescribed provera to take for 10 days to give me a period ( i was on cd 64) & she put me on 750mg metformin which will be going up to 1500 next week ... then she said 7 days after my last pill i should get a period .. WELL suprise suprise , yesterday on my 5th pill i got my period ! So i called the drs office today & they said to stop the provera if i thought it was my period . And im sure it is , but its just really not as heavy as it usually is . One regular tampon every couple hours , usually im going through super or super plus ! So my question is , has anyone else gotten there period before they stopped their pills? How long did u bleed for? Im scared as soon as i stop the pills im gonna stop bleeding 😩
