Bedding for 2nd baby!??

Ok, I'm having a difficult decision? I don't know if I should buy a 4-1 crib like my daughter has now, who is three. Or buy a bassinet, and then wait to purchase a crib, when baby grows?? Any ideas, suggestions??

If the 3 yo still has the crib I’d use that and get her a ‘big girl’ bed. They’re usually more affordable than cribs.

Were buying my almost 2 year old a twin mattress and moving him to his big boy bed before #2 is born. I think he's ready and that way I don't end up with two crib mattresses.

I have a 2.5 year old and have the same decision to make but since we live in a small Brooklyn apartment it makes it even tougher. We are borrowing a cosleep crib from our friends for the first few months and then will figure it out. My sons crib converts to his toddler bed so we'll either have to buy him bed or her a new crib. Just need to figure which is cheaper and will be better for the space.
