Can you sleep in a totally quiet room?

When I sleep I HAVE to have the sound of a fan, even if it’s the middle of winter I need the sound of a fan or something or I’ll sleep so crappy and will wake up all night. My husband thinks I’m crazy.

I can’t sleep in silence, but I hate noise as well. Lol But I usually put my ceiling fan on or the dishwasher to help me sleep.

I cant sleep if their is noise and/or lights. If there is noise though, i just play white noise. But id prefer silence.

Always have the fan on, the constant humming sound is prefect for getting to sleep... even in winter, my husband thinks I’m crazy Lol

I need to listen to something! I have anxiety so a room that’s too quiet gives me a panic attack. I usually either leave an 8 hour game grumps compilation on to listen to, or fall asleep listening to audios from GoneWildAudio and PillowTalkAudio. Voices really soothe me and I love unique voices :) sometimes I’ll listen to a never ending playlist of Alan Watts lectures too, which are very relaxing.

My boyfriend has to have the Tv on or else he can’t get to sleep and I’m the total opposite. It has to be super quiet for me to fall asleep. I’m a light sleeper too so anything wakes me up. It was hard for me to get to sleep when we first started dating but almost 3 years later and I can sometimes asleep to the tv on or him playing games lol

depends, if SO is snoring really bad I need some subtle music to fall/stay asleep. if he isn't I can almost always fall asleep with silence
