What will I put as my babies race?

Dad is Hispanic I'm Caucasian. Is there a mixed box? My daughter is Caucasian completely so never been through this

my kids are black and mexican, i check whatever box applies. usually hispanic is in its own category where you are ask is your child hispanic so i will check that box cause technically they are and the box for black/african american. but then there are times when im asked asked what race do i consider my child and in this case i just say American or decline to answer. but i usually dont have a problem with that.

Well on college applications out the minority always hahaha. Your baby will 1. Have an easier. Hence at getting into that college and 2. Get more money/a scholarship hahah! Take advantage of that. But I don’t know what other reasons you’re asking for.

My husband is Hispanic, African American, and Asian, he just checks any boxes that apply haha. I’m as white as they get so I think our baby has it covered 😂

My kids are half white and half Mexican I’m Mexican and their dad is white and Mexican but he looks white with blue eyes but we consider our kids Hispanic they came out favoring me

I am Latina (Both of my parents are from Latin American). I live in CA so maybe it is different. I would say that most forms have two boxes. the first that asks if you're ethnicity is Hispanic (yes/no) and then the other that asks for race--White, Black, etc. . . Hispanic is not a race but rather an ethnicity. And Mexican is not a race either,  it is a nationality,  like saying you're "American" or "German."
