What happened after your membranes were stripped?

I had an appt today and my OB stripped my membranes after checking my cervix. I have been 3cm dilated for a few weeks and was up to 4cm today, 90% effaced, station 0. 
She said if it works I should go into labor in the next 24-48 hours.  Anyone have those results?! Due date is Saturday, 12/23, really hoping she makes an appearance before.

due date today had sweep on Monday 2cm dialated and not even cramps from my sweep.

Had a sweep done yesterday only 1cm and 25% effaced. Had cramps right after and tons of BH last night. Lost my plug this morning and currently walking around the house timing contractions! Fingers crossed it works for me and you! 🎉🤞🏼
