does it hurt when ur water breaks? or when the Dr breaks it ?

Mine broke on it's own and I didn't feel a thing! But you can hear it it's really cool and really weird! Like this really unique POP sound! As soon as it popped though it was time to push. We were doing a water birth, I feel like it would be unnecessary for a dr to break your water...

It did not hurt when it was broken by the doctor. However within an hour I was in full blown labor and the contractions were much more painful.
