What should I do to my hair?

So at the moment I’m wearing my hair as a middle parting and just letting it do it’s natural thing as I wanted to grow it out to rid the damage from all the bleaching I used to do. About a year ago I put a brown colour over the bleach so that it would all look the same colour when I grew it out. However, the brown actually lightened my roots and then all washed out so now I’ve got this accidental ombré thing going on, which would be alright if the middle wasn’t so brassy. I had my hair cut into a long bob with a side part but that’s obviously grown out now and it’s split end galore. What would you suggest I do next cut wise and colour wise? Open to crazy suggestions but also would love ideas I can do on the cheap so I don’t have to save up😩
