im a mother of 3. a 12, 6 and 3 yr old. 2 boys and a girl. so i ran into a hard ball... im homeless and job less been looking for a job for 7 months. im a felon and jobs are hard to get when ur a felon. i signed for temp custody to my mom to my younger kids and moved to wa state to better myself or (try) to better myself. i lost my oldest my 12 yr old to cps in WA state and nowmy mom finally got to legally adopthim after almost 7 yrs of not knowning what was going on with him.. anyway... my mom and sister thinks i sld adopt my younger ones out seems how i cant take care of them.. my sister said she wld take my 6 yr old daughter and she recommended a couplefor my 3 yr old.. ive looked at both (adoptited couple and they seem great) they r willing to do open adoption and says my family (my mom and older son) and i can visit anytime... im just lost, confused, depressed, anxious,  and scared what wld yall do if u were in my situation? plz dont judge cuz u dont know what ive been through just want ur honest opions.. thank u

I would try and fight my hardest to not split up those kids. If adopting them out needs to be an option, work to adopt them out together. Even if that means finding other families.

I think you’re making a hard but yet a very great choice for your children. You’re willing to give your youngest children to a family, who’s able to do the things you can’t, so you can better yourself and be able to do the things you want for your kids in the future. You’re very strong and brave. I applaud you for your sacrifice you’re making for your kids if you follow through with the adoption.

Ok please don’t split them up . Mom it’s already going to be hard with out you but with out each other it’s going to be hard for them. I wish u could keep them and it was different for you because they need you . 😔 but if you feel there no other choice just make sure they have each other.

I honestly wouldn’t want to split them up. But, you’re their mom and you know what’s best for them. It took a lot to let your mom take them in the first place, a lot of people wouldn’t even do that. I know it’s going to hurt and you’re going to miss them, and they may not understand it but when they grow up they’ll know that you did it in their best interest. I think that adotoption for the children is the perfect choice and that takes courage to say that you’re pain of losing them can benefit them.
You’ll see no judgement from me.
The only thing I would say is try to not split those kiddos up.  Be picky about who has your angels and try and keep them together.  They will need each other.
You’re doing the right thing sweetie.  It takes courage to say that your children can have a better life without you raising them.  True courage.
Focus on getting them placed together, then focus on getting your life together.  You can do this.
My husband got a felony at age 18. Served 4 years in a New York prison.  He overcame addiction and is sober.  He went to college and then he went to grad school.  He currently is 40 years old with an incredibly successful corporate career.  When he fills things out he is often called to state that there was an “error” on his form as he is showing as a felon.  He makes no attempt to downplay it. He tells them, he’s in a felon and I’d like to tell You my story.  
You can and will be the next success story.  You can do this’

So UPDATE: My daughter is in Minnesota with my sister right now and she is loving it!! My bby boy is still with my mom as of this point. Im really trying to find a job still and its making me depressed. Ive been clean and sober now for 9 months as of tomorrow and Im very proud of myself, and I know its thefirat biggest step for me to over come and accomplish... Ready for the next challenge!!!
