Doggy Parent Help!
Hey guys! So I am a foster mom with the humane society. Up until now, I’ve only done bottle kittens, so that’s my experience; bottle feeding and weaning kittens, litter box training them, and socializing them for families.
Well, I just got the call tonight asking for me to bring home a pup! And I’m super excited to do so! Buuuuttt...
This pup has a broken pelvis from a hit and run accident. So he’s on pretty strict cage rest, so he can heal.
Anyone ever dealt with a pup healing from broken bones? Any ideas for keeping him from getting bored? I’m gonna try some daily training sessions with minimal movement to help stimulate him, but I was wondering about any other ideas to keep him happy and calm until he can be active and play again
