Announcing to family for Christmas?

Is anyone else telling their families about their Christmas miracle? We are due at the end of August & would wait to tell them until after the ultrasound but I work with my parents & don’t want them finding out because of morning sickness before my in-laws are told, so we are telling everyone on Christmas Day!

I’m only 5w but we are telling our parents on Christmas Eve. We wanted to wait a little longer this time because last time we had a MC, but we just couldn’t pass up the chance to make a Christmas announcement, plus my in laws are in from out of town and it’s such a rare opportunity to tell them both together in person! And we told the day we found out with my first (he’s 3 now).

Christmas is such a great time to tell family!!! We’re telling just immediate family on Christmas as well... I’ll be 7 weeks. Feeling a bit nervous to tell so early, but with the holidays, it’s also SUPER hard to hide you’re pregnant with all the drinking going on! Lol

We'll tell family on Christmas. I just found out, but don't believe in waiting to tell people. This way you can enjoy the fun with others and be excited and if something should happen and there are complications or a miscarriage, then you have support and aren't alone!

We are telling my Husband's side on Christmas because they will be at our house, but my side wasn't able to come so we put Christmas cards in the mail for them that has a copy of our first ultrasound photo in it. I don't know if they are going to be happy to know or mad we didn't tell them in person when we saw them 2 weeks ago but I didn't want to tell anyone until we got an ultrasound done.

I told my family last Friday. My parents were leaving for the holidays and we didnt want to tell the kids and have them spoil the news. We announced by giving Christmas boxes from the dollar tree. inside the lid was decorated with baby themed stickers and gender revel is it a boy or girl stickers. Their gifts was the baby onesie that had Grandma and Grandpa on it. my daughter got one that said built in Alarm clock on it and my son a football. I tried to stick to gender neutral shirts that I could use no matter what the outcome of our babies sex is.
