period or miscarriage

so I've been strictly breastfeeding my almost 11 month old up until last month she eats very little solids not even a whole container and not every day. so I haven't had a period yet. two days ago she jumped on my stomach twice in a row and it hurt pretty bad and felt off. We went to bed and the next morning I was bleeding very little. I only used two tampons all day. put the third in before bed and woke this morning with a full tampon and so much blood on my boxer shorts I sleep in. could I be finally getting a period? My periods are never heavy. or is it more likely that her jumping on my lower stomach have caused me to miscarry a baby I didn't know was there?
