Some crimes are so gruesome only the death penalty comes close to justice in my eyes. In some cases even that seems to pleasant of a punishment. 
I just watched a case of The First 48 last night where a man killed his baby’s mothers mom, little brother (age 11) and the little brothers best friend. He slit their throats, stabbed them, and beat them with a hammer and his sentence was 99 years 😑 The torture they endured was so severe that they couldn’t determine the cause of death because any of their injuries that they sustained could have killed them. He deserved the death penalty undoubtedly.

Eh. I've been a co and most of the death penalty people spend 30-40 years in prison and for in their cell anyways. So yeah.

rotting in prison costs more than the death sentence. Maybe I'm biased because I've heard the graphic horrid story of how my grandfather's first wife and toddler daughter were murdered or because one of my brother's friends I knew was murdered, but I'm for the death sentences in cases where it's pretty much without a doubt them.

In my opinion the risk of escaping is too big. I know it sounds impossible, but it's been done. And to have an escaped convict on the loose would mean jeopardizing innocent people.

If someone decides to take a life they need to die. Instead of staying in prison getting 3 squares a day. What about the person whose life was taken and all if the possibilities? My ex husband’s sister was kidnapped and killed execution style then her body was thrown out in to a highway. She was 15 years old honor roll student in high school.he life was cut short for no apparent reason.
