Best Christmas Gift Ever

I have the BEST co-workers! 💓💓💓

For the last two years, all of the employees where I work have received gifts in the form of cash and one hour to go purchase something for themselves. This year, right after we were given this money, I put it in my wallet and in the bustle of going out to find my Christmas gift, I dropped my wallet and lost everything.

This week, I got the ultimate surprise. I walked into a meeting and instead received the BEST surprise from my co-workers! They had mimosas (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) and they presented me with a Snoogle (I had wanted to purchase with my Christmas money) and a gift card. My heart is so full.

Anyone who has had their wallet stolen knows it is a frustrating and drawn-out process of first reconciling that you won't be getting any of it back and then trying to replace all of the pieces you are able to. I've spent the last few weeks doing just that, all the while cursing my luck that the person who found my belongings just happened to be the type of person who would take everything, not just the money and gift cards, but all of the stuff that wouldn't even benefit them. Although I tried to stay positive and remember all of the things I still had, I started feeling pretty unlucky.

I was so wrong.

I am the luckiest! I have the best friends/ co-workers anyone could ask for and I get to surround myself with these people everyday. 💗

Ps. The Snoogle is amazing!!! Highly recommend.
