Christmas engagements

I knew this time of year was going to be rough because my S.O has made it clear we are not getting engaged anytime soon even though I’m 22 weeks pregnant with our first. I hate to sound so selfish but I’m happy for our friends who are getting engaged but just wish it was us. I feel like my family is trying to make me feel better about it and his family is just mad at him for not asking him to marry me. One more family gathering to go to today and then I can hopefully forget about it until the next holiday.
