Interracial dating

This is for all my interracial couples out there!! I am in an interracial relationship. My boyfriend is albanian (born in greece, moved to America when he was 5) & I am a mixed Dominican American who is a first generation American. His family wasn’t (isn’t) too fond of the idea of interracial dating and holds strong beliefs on cultural matters. I know it doesn’t seem like the end of the world but I wanted to know if anyone goes through any hardships with their interracial relationship!
