Registering tomorrow!! What’s useless and useful?

What do you wish you got, what did you register for that was useless, etc.

so the only items I'm really set on getting is a swing, crib, bassinet, nursing pillow, infant carseat, and clothes. I'm sure more will be added to the list... But God I had so much useless crap with my first. I'm not looking to go that route again.

Everyone is so different! I hated my wipe warmer and found it useless yet we have two changing tables. Totally opposite of another posters thoughts. My favorite that I’ll buy again if it breaks is the mammaroo. My daughter is 15 months and still uses it for daily naps.

I got a billion pacifiers for my baby, she won’t take any of them. I also had no luck with bottles and now I have a cabinet overflowing with them. She was exclusively breast fed. 
I really like my diaper genie and wipe warmer, but a lot of people do fine without them. I would buy them again though. 
I don’t think a changing table is necessary, we use the top of her dresser with a changing pad. I also recommend a small organizer on the top of the dresser for diapers, wipes, butt paste, etc. 
Baby sized hangers! I have gone through so many of those! 
I loved having muslin swaddle blankets for my daughter. She was an April baby, so it was nice to have a light weight blanket. 
Sound machine was a must for us, she also used the halo swaddle sleep sacks starting around 3 months and those were life savers.
I have never used burp rags, but have gone through billions of bibs. 
I wouldn’t buy or register for a lot of newborn clothes, my daughter outgrew them within two weeks.

Useful: Maternity/nursing tank tops - I wear them nonstop! Extra large muslin wraps. Orthodontic newborn pacifiers. Disposable nursing pads (you'll need a LOT). Dr. Brown's bottles. And I love the Medela bottle sanitizing bags - sanitize bottles and pump parts in the microwave in 90 seconds! Total life-saver. 
Useless: Newborn clothes (the clothes aren't useless of course, but you'll be given tons of them anyway, and they grow out of the newborn size so quickly. Register for bigger sizes instead so you can stock up.) Swaddles (my baby hates them, I just use the muslin wraps). Bottle sanitizer (see Medela bags above!).
Of course, this is just my experience and opinion. Others may disagree!

Useful: swing, swaddle blankets, diaper pail or genie, boppy pillow , rock n play, glider/rocking chair , infant bath tub , baby towels and wash clothes , car seat and stroller 
Useless: wipe warmer, clothes ( nice to get but not to register for ) , soaps and lotions ( I found I wanted to choose these ) pacifiers, my baby never took them and there are so many different kinds 
I would honestly recommend registering for all the major things . Crib, dresser, car seat, stroller, swing. People will buy you the clothes they want not what you register for. Also, if  you register for bottles/ diapers keep in mind baby may not like or agree with that particular kind. I registered for Pampers and ended up not liking them. Same with the bottles, we barely use bottles but when we did I had to switch brands. 
This is all my opinion and I know it varies from person to person!
