Ovulation test...

So my period ended on the 18th of this month. I decided yesterday I would go ahead and take my first ovulation test. It’s clear blue. I took it mid day after sex and there was no visible LH surge. So I took another this morning with my first morning pee, and there was a very, very faint LH surge line. Almost not noticeable. Am I taking them too soon? I’ve never used these test before. And it’s the clear blue brand.
