Random bleeding when ovulating

I'm supposed to be pretty close to ovulation time, but I had some bleeding today. It was bright red with tiny clots. There's a chance that I'm pregnant, but I won't know for a couple of weeks since it would've just happened. It seems too early for implantation bleeding, since that usually comes closer to period time. It also seems premature for a miscarriage as I seriously would've just barely gotten pregnant, if I am. Is this normal? Should I be worried?
