First time tampon users?

Question

My first time putting in a tampon was today. I put it all the way in, as far as I could. I can still feel the tampon when I walk but there's no pain. Is it far enough in there or do I feel the tampon since it's my first time putting something in my vagina?

For me it was the same thing when I used a tampon for the first time, I felt it, but then I searched it up and got responses that it's normal to feel it a little when it's your first time using one especially if you're a virgin... but yeah in reality you shouldn't feel it at all, try pushing it in further with your finger 😊

You shouldn’t be able to feel it once it’s in, so it sounds like it needs to go up a little further. If you can feel your tampon, the it’s still low enough that it isn’t yet past the muscles at the entrance to your vagina. Once it’s up further, you won’t be able to feel it at all. 😊
