Spotting?

Not sure if anyone can really help with this but thought I'd ask. I havnt had my period since I stopped birth control in August. Well December 11th I had what felt like ovulation pain. Left ovary was cramping all day. Fast track to yesterday (25th) and I started spotting. Just a little yesterday and a little today. No cramping whatsoever. Could this be implantation bleeding? Google says wait 3-4 days before testing. Just thought I would get some input from you ladies. Hope I posted on the correct wall!
