Birth Control Talk

I am 15, almost 16, and have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and we are both ready and have talked about having sex, we even bought condoms. But I want to be on birth control too. i’m not nervous about asking my mom for it, it’s more what she will do after. My mom is pretty chill, and will say yes if i ask to go on it because she said she wants me to be safe, i’m just worried that after i’m on it, she won’t let me be alone with him because she will think we are having sex. I’m usually never alone with him but still. I am also worried she will see me differently because I’m a good kid. Should I risk it? or are my worries dumb?
