Tattoo help?

Marissa

I got this tattoo over a year ago and it has some awesome meaning behind it. But I hate it and it makes me not want to get anymore because I’m afraid I will hate them too!

Not only is the placement on my shoulder terrible

It’s super blurry/ and not completely legible

I don’t like the placement because it seems like the “once” is starting to float away.

So I was thinking of two options

I could add to it and make it look like a planets taking off and is pulling the letters off my shoulder with like a rope

Or completely cover it up.

What do you guys think?

I'd cover up, it's small and would cover easily.

I’d just cover it up to be honest... adding to it would attract even more attention

Don’t make it change your mind on tattoos it’s a poorly executed tattoo and it looks like it healed shitty too. Script is a bitch and normally always blurs out. That’s why tattoo artists hate to do small script or lettering in general because it does this. I’m heavily tattooed and my best friend is a tattoo artist and owns her own shop. Just so you don’t think I’m pulling this info from thin air lol.

Wether you want to cover it or add to it is your decision, I just wanted to say that the reason it's blurry is possibly because of the size of the writing, most tattoos bleed a little but the smaller the lines (or the writing!) the more noticeable it will be, especially if there's not much space between each line, a friend of mine had a quote on her and the tattoo artist refused to do it as small as she had originally planned because it would have looked blurry after a while instead of being easy to read. If you're worried about other tattoos in the future being blurry talk to your tattoo artist about it and they'll be happy to work with you so it's still what you want but better quality :)

My first tattoo was done in a really bad tattoo shop because it was the closest one to where I live, luckily it didn't get infected but she did it so badly that it faded so much it was basically gone within a month so I had to get it touched up at a different place

Girl I have a shit Ton of tattoos half them I regret getting. But I live with them. They make me realize that I’m smarter now and don’t have to do something cuz a friend does it. Naturally I should have had that mindset to begin with but hey eventually I will get them removed or taken care of

IMO you should get it covered. As you age the lettering will get more fuzzy and blend more
