Ok hear me out... MY EFFING MOTHER

My mother cheated on my step dad (the man who walked me down the isle, supported us, raised me). She packed all of her belongings and left him after 27 years without a conversation. Just a note on the counter. Now here is the kicker:

She left him for a CLIENT at work. She works at a place that houses mentally ill and recovering addicts. A man half of her age, and in recovery with mental health issues. She’s old enough to be his mother. She could be fired from her job if her office found out. So her way of dealing with this was to have him leave housing and the company she works for and move in with her in her new apartment. She apparently had been planning this secretly for months.

She had no intentions on telling me any of this. She just told me she wanted to start fresh. She lied to me for months. My step dad found out everything at told me.

We haven’t spoken in a few months because I’m upset with her poor decisions and just need some time to process this.

She sent my best friends Christmas cards and SIGNED HIS NAME on them. Am I overreacting or is that totally inappropriate?
