They go by period. It’s pretty much impossible to know the day you conceived

They did a dating scan with a transvaginal ultrasound and an extremely specific gestational age estimate.

Neither.  I have long cycles so by lmp I was 2 weeks further along. We went by ultrasound measurements to be more accurate.
