You stopped mattering when your pregnancy went public

This is more of a request for a show of hands of any and all women who feel like once they came out with their pregnancy everyone around them stopped caring about them. Sure they might do little things to ensure baby's safety like lifting heavy things for you. I'm talking about, your desires, your feelings, your thoughts etc. A good example would be just this Christmas everything gifted to you was for the baby, stuff you'd never pick of course because again.. your opinions stopped mattering. Or everyone hijacking an event, like a baby shower, a gender reveal, or even your homecoming with your new bundle of joy. Does anyone feel like less of a valid person since being pregnant? Share your stories ! A nice healthy venting session might help... because after all, else where we are expected to smile, be gracious and be grateful. Not like carrying a baby 9 months is hard or anything!
