Should I reach out to her?

My first bf treated me bad. He was controlling and becoming abusive to the point where I couldn’t anymore and had to end things for my own safety. About 2 or 3 Year later, I found out he’s dating a girl from my school. I honestly felt bad for her thinking she’d go through what I did & soon I found out she’s pregnant by him. However, she left him & posted this

I want to reach out to her because i know what it feels like to have your safety, privacy, & self-esteem jeopardized. I saw how she hung out with a lot of guys after the break up being that she lost contact with friends while she was with him. I lived the exact same thing. I remember her staring at me in the hallways probably because he talked bad about me but I have no intentions of being mean, I want a genuine friendship with her and hope that I can be there for her in any way as a support system or something. But how will I start a conversation? Should I even do it? She knows I’m his ex and probably thinks I’m mean or something..
