missed period

I'm usually right on time with my periods, even after my four miscarriages last year. my period is 4 days late. I bought a test this morning. but haven't taken it yet. I'm scared. scared for it to go either way. I'm scared for it to be positive. I'm scared for it to be negative. idk what to do.

Update: I'm now a week late and have not tested yet. I keep feeling like I've started, but when I go to the bathroom, all I have is very heavy discharge. Any advice?
