craving  can come over you at any point. pregnancy vs PMS we have to know the difference between the two.

I crave bacon on cake before my period starts. I've never actually eaten it, it just sounds good. It's a PMS symptom for me.

The first symptom of my first pregnancy was my craving for mushrooms and I absolutely hate mushrooms. So we knew something was up. 
I do get pms cravings but never for foods i don't actually like.
