So I’ve been wondering this and just finally googled it. Maybe everyone else knows but in case, here it is- apparently spotting before your period doesn’t count as a period day. The first day is when you start bleeding with a good flow. Maybe I’ve been miscalculating ovulation because of this. Interesting.
