Boyfriend Always leave

Lately I’ve just been feeling down , not really in the mood to talk to anyone. I woke up and went to sleep on the couch because my boyfriend is sick and he was doing a lot of coughing the next day he’s angry because I slept on the couch and I told him I just didn’t want to get sick. And he felt like I wont being genuine because I was laying down while talking remind you I haven’t been feeling up beat all. So he threatened to leave if I didn’t show affection. I told him I couldn’t show what I didn’t feel. And he left everytime we get the arguing and I’m not kissy kissy affectionate to him he leaves and this happens over and over. We been together three years but I’m seriously just tired man. Was I wrong for not saying oh don’t leave and being affectionate. He told me he felt like I was selfish because I didn’t show affection.
