Will my boyfriend want period sex?

My boyfriend and I havemt seen each other for almost a month now due to both of us going home for the holidays. We've been texting about how hot the sex is going to be once I'm back in town but I just realized that I'm probably going to be mid-period by the time I get back (on the 2nd) and I don't want to wait anymore but I also don't feel like period sex is going to be an attractive offer after we've waited so long. idk I guess I need some assurance or advice about telling him that we may have to wait a bit even after we're back to seeing each other on the regular.
