Sickness advice?

Question

My 14 month old has a cold, sore throat,  and a cough. She hasn't been sleeping well (last night she woke up for 2hrs in the middle of the night). She falls asleep for a little bit before her coughing wakes her. My problem is that the way she normally settles down is with a bottle of warm milk, but that makes it worse. Any suggestions or tips on how to relax an (exhausted) sick toddler?

Have you tried a cool mist humidifier? And maybe till she feels better replace her warm milk with water or pedialyte. Definitely make sure she drinks lots of fluids my son just got over a really bad cold ! I had a humidifier going 24/7 (have 2 cool and one warm mist ) and I kept giving him zarbee cough and mucus (the 12 month one with honey to help his throat) and I also gave him Tylenol to help the pain of him coughing . And of course he had nothing but water and milk (didn’t make it worse for him actually helped him)  I also was told by his doctor since he was congested to use nasal spray to help as well
