How accurate is using your last period?

So I found out I was pregnant on Christmas eve with my first born. Just wondering how accurate using my last period is to estimate how far along I am? Has anyone ever been way off? Also is it weird I don't have very many symptoms?

I was only off by 4 days, I don't remember exactly now. at the time I should've been 9 weeks and was 8 weeks 3 days instead which they said was probably because my cycles are longer then the average 28 days

when they did yhe ultrasound they recalculated my due date off that instead of my period which was a differemce of about 8 days or something. I must have ovulated late I guess

Mine was super off but my cycles were really irregular too. Based on my cycle I should've been about 9 weeks and I was 4+5 and I had minimal symptoms. At almost 19 weeks I still have minimal symptoms, not that I'm complaining!

When I had my first ultrasound it was only a week off. So instead of being 8 weeks pregnant, I was 7 weeks.

Unless you have a very long cycle it should be pretty accurate.
