Does plan b work during ovulation.

My husband and I got Carried away lastnight and didn’t use a condom. It was day one of ovulation. So my change of pregnancy was 9%. Will plan b still work. He didn’t cum in me just worried about pre cum. Before all the “ you should be using a condom if you don’t wanna get pregnant” comments. It’s not that I don’t wanna get pregnant. It’s just not the right time, it’s my senior year of college so I’m focused on that rn. But if I do end up pregnant than I’m prepared to let it happen. I just wanna know if plan b still works the same.
