I'm a little lost... please help

So I'm in college and I've never had a yeast infection until now. I was told I had BV and a yeast infection and no signs of an STD but it won't go away I've had it going on two months, I keep going back to the doctor and they keep saying I have BV and a yeast infection, I thought it went away but after a few days around the time I'm supposed to start my period I started having this brown discharge that looked clumpy like a yeast infection and watery light brown discharge. What's wrong with me I haven't had sex in a little over two months and I've only had one sexual partner. I forgot to add this but yes they have treated me for both BV and a yeast infection every time with Diflucan for a yeast infection and Metronidazole for the BV, and every doctor says "well you might have a little BV remaining because you don't have any STDs".

Update: everything cleared up after four days of using monistat 7
