Is there something wrong with my body?

Why does my body take so long to register HCG? I’m 99% sure I’m pregnant again, simply because I know my body. The first time I was pregnant I ended up miscarrying because of a blighted ovum. This time my body is reacting the exact same (really late AF, extreme fatigue, swollen nipples, delayed positive HCG tests). Last time I didn’t get. BFP until 13 days past my expected AF. I’m currently 12 days late this time around, and still have no sign of a BFP. Does this mean I will miscarry again? What are some reasons my body takes forever to register HCG?

You could have ovulated later then you think .

I have definitely seen successful pregnancies with a late bfp. my sister's first pregnancy she got a bfp right away (successful pregnancy) her second took I wanna right on 14 days before a positive pee stick! she had been in the er for unrelated reason and they did a blood test she found out she was 3 weeks along so she didn't get a positive pee stick for another 3 weeks after finding out! she carried him to term and he was a healthy baby :)

I didn’t get a bfp until 2 weeks after my missed period. I’m now 36 weeks. I just ovulated late and he took a long time to implant

I didn't get my bfp until 17 DPO. My period was due September 16th. Tested three days before, negative. Tested day after period was due, negative. Eventually I figured I was just skipping my period and stopped testing for a few days until I had a feeling I should test one more time and there it was! I was 8 days late. I will add, however, that I have abnormally long cycles and this doesn't happen all the time. But if you have long cycles like me, you can implant later than average. (For example, my doctor told me I didn't even implant until day 13/14)...my baby boy is healthy and strong at 18 weeks currently!   that being said--- I always recommend trying to be knowledgeable about your self and your cycles and when you ovulate. Thank you all, this helps so much to ease my mind. Pregnancy after miscarriage is scary.. however, I was using ovulation tests and got a positive LH surge on Nov. 30th. So maybe I just take forever to implant after fertilization?

Also, I had some old blood spotting for like 3 hours on Dec. 15th. It was more than what most people describe as implantation bleeding, but definitely not a period.
