Where do you grocery shop for the best deals?

my fiance loves Publix but it's so damn expensive.  yes there are BOGO but it's crap I don't want.  I bought chocolate chips there one time and a bag was $4.  the same exact bag of chocolate chips were $2 at Walmart.  I bought a box of orzo pasta at publix and it was $10.   that's ridiculous.  should be anymore than $4.  I swear I hate publix for anything other than meat.  what about you?

Publix is the best, customer service is the best. I’d rather go to publix and spend an  extra buck and be in and out than go to Walmart get extra things I don’t need and wait in line forever and possibly deal with terrible customer service. No thanks.

We get all meat from publix, but veggies and dry / canned goods either walmart or food lion

Albertsons or Safeway for meat and produce, and Wal-Mart for everything else.

We usually go to the Commissary on post (military) or sometimes Food Lion because it's closer.

Where do you live that publix is considered expensive? My main grocery stores are publix, fresh market, or sometimes we'll go out of our way and go to aldi or trader joes
