Best friend is the worst listener

I love my best friend. We are so alike and talk about anything and everything.

But she’s the worst listener and worst advice giver.

She take over me when I’m venting/saying why I’m upset.

And while she’s sympathetic her responses to my issues are horrible.

For example if I tell her my husband never initiates sex her response will be “aww that would suck. My partner can’t keep his hands off me.”

Like ok that makes me feel so much better... not.

Anyone else have this issue?
