help, dental pain:/

I've been getting this horrible pain in my teeth (like, in the gums below my maxillary sinuses). If I push on it gently to do my makeup or when I gently run my finger up high on my gums, it sends a lightning like pain into one of my teeth. The part on my face is just under my cheekbone. I feel a lump on my gums really high up under my lip. I don't know who to go see. Doctor....dentist? Really I'm also afraid they won't be able to fix it. It hurts a lot when I touch it, but I actually forget it's there until I accidently brush against it. :/
