How far along am I?

Question

I know the first day of my last period and the day in which I ovulated, which one do I go by? If I go by my last period I am 5 weeks 2 days. If I go by my ovulation date I am 3 weeks and 5 days.. which one do I go by??
Edit- LMP first date was nov 23. Ovulation positive was dec 16th. So I’m assuming conception/ actual ovulation date is dec 18th. So they’re quite far apart. I don’t have the normal 28 day cycle

I would go by conception. That's a big gap. Dr may opt to use LMP until they do a dating ultrasound, then adjust accordingly.

Doctors and ob’s go by the day of your last period. Even though you think you know the day of ovulation implantation can happen over a number of days so it’s hard to pin point an actual day.

Even if you didn’t have a period they’ll add days to pretend you did. I know exactly when I conceived but didn’t have a period before because I’m breastfeeding. But the docs have all been like “okay we will just say your last period started 1 October for dating purposes”
