Safe birth control while breastfeeding?

What birth control method is best to use while breastfeeding? I'm nervous about using any medication/etc. so I'm in need of advice!

any progesterone only BC. Nexplanon, the patch, depo, nuvaring,I think all IUDs (maybe), mini pill, then there are condoms, natural family planning, spermicides...
do research before you settle on which one will work best for you.
I had the Nexplanon for a year after I had my son, breastfeed for 10 1/2 months before we both were done. I liked it because I didn't have to remember to take anything or change anything out, they don't have migrating issues like some IUDs, it's good for 3 years, there isn't common side effect of weight gain like there is with depo.
