So Im 37 Weeks and I’ve been having pre labor symptoms for 3 weeks now (regular/rhythmic contractions that last all day and come like a clock - they’ve been coming closer together too as the days are going by) period like cramps, more discharge, started to progress with the station dropping & effacing...

This morning at 3am I was woken up with a sharp stabbing back pain that never went away but got harder and even more painful with contractions (which now were 3m apart). It never went away so I called the midwife at 6am and she wanted to see me see if I was dialating.

I went in at 7am to see her and no, still no dialating at all. She thinks it’s back labor starting but labor could happen this week as in two or three weeks. Who knows how my body will act we can only wait and see.

The pain is terrible and barely lets me do anything even sleep. Anyone had this happen to? If so how long were you like this? I am not ready for labor but feeling like this for DAYS or WEEKS will be TERRIBLE 😭
